Painting Beachscapes in Acrylic
The course consisted of four 3 hr classes run in Nov 2023 at the Sarah Wray Hall in Garden Bay on the Sunshine Coast in BC. In each of the first three classes I painted a demonstration and the students followed along. The aim was to complete a painting in the class, or be close enough to finish at home. In doing so I was encouraging the students to work in a loser style and focus more on composition. In the last session the students were free to work on something of their own choice. At the end of the session I raffled off my three demos done in class. It was very satisfying to see the development of the students during this time! Well done to all who participated :)
