I am based on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada. I am  a member of the Sechelt Life Drawing Group and the Coast Cultural Alliance.

To paint and sketch is to tell a story about an experience or moment. I am inspired by the beauty of nature and the shapes and textures I see around me. The play of light on rocks, trees and the ocean always seem to catch my eye. The change in  light at different times of day stirs my thoughts towards a drawing or painting. In my paintings I try to capture what I feel about the moment as much as what I see. The more I paint, the more I learn and the further I move along my lifelong journey of discovery.
